I'm looking at myself
Not knowing what to say
I really cannot tell
Whether I am or not okay
I feel so drained of life
Of laughter and of smile
I can only really hope
To see it lasting but a while
When will I lift this curse
This life to which I'm bound
When will it be true
That a home I have found
Whether it be in someone's arms
Or silent, on my own
I wish so much to leave
This prison in which I've grown
My mind holds the key
And when I find the door
I will never go back
To all that was before
