Are only the men allowed to wear their own hair as well? I noticed all the women have shaved heads, and he seems to have head hair under that lion topknot. Great views into another culture. Thanks.
the main sign that you are a full fledge warrior (you've killed your lion and passed all the initiation rites) is they are allowed to grow their hair long. the women also have a series of rites also before they are allowed to marry. a pretty and skilled marriageable woman can command over seven cows for her hand.
