Description

O'juin is the setting for a series of novel manuscripts that I wrote over many years. It is a bit larger than Earth and has a huge moon, Nantah, which also orbits closer, so it looms large in the sky. It has one super continent in the process of splitting into two separate ones. There are also two small island continents a little smaller than Australia. The animals, called lupah, are mammalian but look reptilian. The "dinos" in the background are not. They are the equivalent of wild horses and cattle. Think of a large scaly kangaroo that you could both ride and milk. They have a horse-like head and a body something like a raptor, only larger. There are also two felinoids--scaly tabbies, if you will, in the foreground, although you might have to look close to find one of them. They are cavil and normally they are solitary creatures, but it is the mating season so there are a pair. Plants are like giant ferns, succulants, and mosses, plus they have an incredible range of beautiful fungi that function as flowers--and smell as sweet--and giant "rope-moss." Some of these things are missing from the picture, but will be added later. This is basically a set in which to place characters. Everything in this picture was modeled by me, except the grasses, which were created by Transpond. Thanks, Chris and Judith! Enjoy. I'll be updating this over the next few months, so stay tuned for further developments. Thanks for looking! J.
