Description
...although the earthport systems "homeland security" baggage checks were instituted way back in the early 2000's, they have never been very popular and many a baggage check officer has found himself at the business end of an angry arrival's fist. ...some things never change!....
i found the model of the space marine by "tobor" (j.a.murphy) on his site and away i went. i pretty much figure that some things never change once instituted....but oh those space marines...i did the texturing, markings, and attitude. i was looking for a menacing atmosphere that would evoke feelings going through customs after a long arduous journey...kinda like coming for r&r and having to deal with the suits.
posed, composited, and fiendishly rendered in vue. postwork in photoshop 7.
spaceport...moebius,ajax, and billy-home (i hope i got that right), mongo (retro)rocket from daz..."baggage from daz and 3d cafe, space marine model by j.a. murphy (www.btinternet.com/~tobor), marine textures from my dark studio.

lol those boy's aint happy! lol
HE HE HEEEE...This is very well done and composed. Just from the picture I can sence the mood..the building frustration and eventually...the fear of the customs guy shivering in his boots. I know I would be. Wonderful work. They kinda remind me of those big lumbering dudes from the Fifth Element. The ones that went to the pyramid...really cool
