Description
First attempt at waterfall postwork. I'm happy with the waterfall, but not with the mist at the bottom. The plants were made in Vue d'Esprit.

I think the mist is OK. But the waterfall seems a bit too straight,narrow and "regular"I.M.O Excellent anyway.
Nice try Pat... Try using numerous layers for the mist...
Very nice first attempt. I've been wanting to do a "tall falls" for some time but, haven't found the terrain or view I wanted....this inspires me to keep trying. I think the sun angle and shadow of the rock on the falls detracts a bit...otherwise, very nice!!
i agree with MLamour. I like surfaces and sky.
I know you'll try again Pat; but, this is an excellent 'first try'...keep them coming!
excellent for a first attempt! waterfalls are really hard!!! I would reduce your mist by about a third and gradually reduce the amt even more the further you get away from the fall/water impact zone. This may make it not so obvious. Confine your hard "mist" to close to the water to simulate splashes ... this is a small fall so there wouldn't be too much. Ripples from the fall in the water would be a nice touch but these are hard to do as well!!! My kingdom for a plugin that'd do this!! Amazing for a first go! Keep at it!!
