Finally having some fun again, albeit at the wee hours of the morning.
Played with the new SDS modeler.. that's how I made the box and the wood pedestal.
HDR image wrapped around the new LightDome, radiosity rendered in 30 minutes at posted size, 9 pixel Oversampling, no Anti-aliasing.

Man, I am more and more impressed with Strata's rendering engine with every new image from you. This is really nice. Perhaps it could benefit from some anti-aliasing. At the moment, it almost appears to have been sharpened a bit too much. Still, the modeling and lighting in this image are very impressive.
Your image is, as always, very refined and beautiful. Congrats. I have, however, one very simple question. Do you drink milk a lot my friend?

I like it. The milk is nice, and the pens (aren't those great props?) add just a bit of interest. It would be cool to see this without the box and with an old crossword puzzle from a newspaper! Throw in some cookies and you'll have a scene for insomnia.
