Description
Stiffled screams
Breaking seams
Dream fading
Still hating
That creature
Cursed Preacher
For once be silent
Eyes violent
Broken face
Tears with no trace
What a disgrace
To a superficial race
Threw me down
Now I drown
Soul dark
Darkness stark
Surrounding me
One, to be
Forever now
Weak, I bow
Command my soul
Life you stole
Black as coal
Abyssal hole
Come drain
Bloodied vein
Pouring out
Painful shout
Eyes glazed
Hopes razed
In your name
Since you came
Blood was cried
People died
I'm alone
On golden throne
King of sadness
Rising madness
Building rage
Smashing cage
To be fine
Dream of mine
To be free
Just to be!

wrote this 2 days ago. the throne was meant to be golden, but gold is too bright, too warm, too alive. cracked stone is more suitable. cold, cheap, weathered.
thus the king of sadness sits on his throne of stone, a frozen statue himself, forever lost in the torment of his imprisoned soul

dude is default poser 4 dude with a 'Tribal' outfit created by someone whose name i do not know. crappy-looking throne made by yours truly

i rendered it again with slight modifications in the bump map and the lighting. bump map a bit more... bumpy, and the light a bit more opaque so as to get the volumetric shadows showing a bit more

Interesting I will say that much actually he must be very sad haven't much of a clue about lightwave but do like the render really fits perfectly with the title excellent work.
great lightning atmosphere
very good concept, the image really expresses sadness.. I like it!
Your render truly reflects your excellent poem. **Vote
Very nicely done. If you're going to revisit this image, I would suggest a layered procedural to help break up the regularity of the existing bump, maybe even a cool seamless rock texture. Kudos on the poem!
updated the pic, worked a bit on the bump map and i'm happier with it now. gave it a bit of specularity as well since... well, i just thought it looked better with it :p so yeah, i'm happer with this version, thanks moe :)
