Oh no! Something has gone awfully wrong!! Just after midnight today the world's first Babean began a series of severly disturbing mutations. We had to put it down, there was nothing else we could do. This image displays the final agonizing moments of this lifeform's existence.
It is a terribly tragic loss to us all as human beings, but more so to our institute since we have just spent the final $10,000,000 of our yearly budget in marketing Babenian products. It is a true shame to see something so unique die away and leave us with no money for the rest of the year *throws babean seed on ground and stomps on it*

this isn't a modified version of the Babean, this is actually an entirely different render that happened to bear an extreme similarity to the original Babean and seemed to offer a further chapter in the Babenian story.
