Description
In an abandoned fortress in the country of the old ones, Kyra, Gyn, and St'fan have been surprised by an encounter with one of the nasty monsters. Gyn was peeking through the hole next to the rusty gate, when the old one lunged at her, almost snatching her head first. With a shriek, the shaken ex-thief turns and bolts past the others. Val, the dog, is every bit as scared as the rest of them, but determined to remain in from of his mistress to protect her. He is a bit distressed that his mistress keeps moving toward that huge horror. For her part, Kyra is determined to help in the group's mutual defense--even if her knees seem to be melting and her hand is shaking so hard that she dropped her arrow and will have to reach for another. Kyra is relieved that Val appears unwilling to budge any closer to the monster. She is pretty sure that Val won't allow her to move past him. St'fan is moving to place himself between the old one and the youngsters. He has an arrow ready to fit to his bow, but is not keen to have to shoot it at the beast. The chances that he would manage to disable or kill it are almost nil, and likely all their arrows would do is infuriate the creature enough to get it to smash down the rusty, weakened gate. In a low voice, he urges them all to slowly retreat to the tower behind them.
Wall, tower, ruined gate, T-rex, and cobble stone courtyard all freebies from Suzanne Osth's website, bryceworld.st. Thanks, Suzanne. Grasses are by Transpond. Thanks, Chris and Judith. Dog is Oscar from Traveler at MorphWorld and temple are freebies here at Renderosity. Huntress is OWO Archer by Sergio Martinez & Emily Thrasher (xurge over at RDNA). Thanks, Sergio and Emily! Woodland Ranger character by A of D, but most textures by me from net freebies, which I believe were made by Judith Ward. Hair by Anton. Face morph is "DNA 10 Roman Faces for Michael 2" with skin and face textures from Nikita Creed's "Celtic Warrior." John Mallis modeled the two thieves; although I gave these P4 figures P5 heads that I modeled in Poser 5. I also added extra bags and a cloak and cape for the female figure. Most of their clothing textures were by Judith Ward (I think!). Thanks, John! Figures modeled in Poser 5 and rendered in Bryce 5.
Thanks for looking!

Very nicely done! I wouldn't be having my face turned toward the beast. just letting it see my better side, hehe. never a bolt hole or marine tank around when ya need one.

wonderful composition. I think it is great how you were able to get so many parts from so many different sources and bring them all together here for such an excellent scene and story. Also I am happy to see good use of Poser characters and costumes in Bryce.
