Description

I told cynlee I had some Momma duck photos too, so here they are. You can see how cute they are when they are young, but as they grow to teenagers, they loose that cuteness. (though I still think they are cute, in an awkward way) Momma duck is alone now, her brood has left her. But she is sitting on a new batch of eggs, hopefully these will do as well as the earlier generation. Belated Happy Mother's Day!

I always have a smile who comes when I see such shots. On one hand it is so cute and tender full of you vision of the world. And on a second hand, technicaly very rigourous. I love this melting, it make good shot ! Thanks for sharing ! :) V

This momma duck hasn't been so lucky with previous clutches, this is the first of them to survive. There are seven out of the orginal 14 still swimming around my lake...not too bad I guess. Let's see how this next batch does. :) *

....well...I must say - this wouldn't qualify for that Boop-Boop- Ditem song -- which clearly states there must be ten ducks.. ( no more -no less ! )...and this is clearly a duck that's been crossbred with a vulture! --- so now we possibly have a misrepresentation case...but -- I'm going to let you slide on this one in the spirit of Duck Watchers of America ( we stand on guard for thee. )
