Description
The Gromek Spacestation is the star piece of the Gromek fleet. Using the Gromeks most advanced techniques this huge spacecomplex provides a place to live for thousands of gromek soldiers has enough firepower to blast even the biggest spaceship to bits.
This is the most complex model I've ever made. 1129MB of data, 27939 objects, 36774716 poligons. It was so complex I couldn't render it at once without having my computer crash so I was forced to render it in bits and manually put those together in PSP.
This station will be starring in the computergame Orbital Threat (www.orbitalthreat.com).
Modelling&Texturing time: +/- 100 hours in 3.5 weeks.
Rendertime: 6.5 days at 4000x3000 pixels on normal AA mode.

Nice immage ! I will sign up to the game too to find out what a Gromek is .
This is a phenominal piece of modeling! And it looks so cool. Congrats!
This thing realy shines in the dark... :)
Looks fantastic. Don't suppose I could talk you into a render with blast effects on the guns?
man, I want the window cleaner concession for this place..;) great model.
very nice. i would personally have used less 'windows,' but otherwise solid effort. the work you put in, by itself, should merit a stellar rating :)
Excellent!
Wow, I'll bet that the wireframe view on this piece would make me go cross-eyed! Excellent work on a hugely complex model!
Absolutely Gorgeous!
It's as if the Wurlitzur Co made a death star!

HOLY COW! Now THIS is like it! That's a lotta little windows! Cool!
Lots of details and big guns. Great work!
Amazing work ! This is very very good !
Yup, lots of lights there ray. =) I sympathize, I've had to do that before. Blasted computer limitations. Sounds like both of us need to upgrade. =)
