Description
bittersweet poignancy,
rustling of wings
then silence,
then rustling
wrestling conscience
reap what you sow
actions that are louder
than any words
Yon Death, I hear you calling
on the wings of one single shot...

Stone cold brilliant lighting and shadow
Very cool Syyd. Awesome atmosphere to this one.
Such a narrow but intensely bright focus on one side of her face....the viewer is permeated with an overwhelming sense of dread... punctuated, maybe, with one brilliant ray of hope. Stunning and so personal, I feel. Brilliant work, Syyd.
JimmyGun roflmao , great work missus
wow! very evocative..the image combined with the tone of the verse really say so much...great work! :)
Simply amazing emotion in this one. I love how you used dramatic lighting to intensify her sorrow. Good Job!

Superb lighting - great image.
Amazing lights. Absolutely stunning.
Wonderful work... The character is hauntingly beautiful and the lighting is absolutely superb. You're an amazing artist, Syyd. Love, Outi
superb job this is very much in the style of the greats like leanardo or micheal angelo in turms of light and shade as you paint the shade so shall the light come forth exellent
This is very beautiful! The lighting, character, everything is excellent... but you know what captivates me the most is the visual apparition of her conscience to the right begging her to listen to reason, as she deifiantly, but painfully ignores her... awesome work
This is so Powerful and so emotional as all your images are!! :) Wonderful work!! And superb Caravaggesque lighting !!

drymatic and powerful. from colors used to the word said. love it.
I would expect nothing less, you are able to bring someone into that world with such ease. Thanks for sharing this.
Excellent work Syyd!!, the expression is very well gotten!!, that that but it impresses me in this work, it is the punctual use that you had made of the illumination, on one hand that concentrated reflector that gives on the face is and he comes from the lateral one left that gives a lot of force to the character's expression, the other one that falls on its hands that give the sensation of tense wait, the light is reflected in the floor and it models the shade of the hands, the other delicate light that seemingly comes to about 45 degrees on model right the dress of dark tone, the detail of the face in the shades ends up reinforcing the idea of the wait. This is a work I toss with a great conception and imagination.
Nice work Syyd, I love the lighting.
once again you have done great work
Syyd, your work is fantastic as usual. =) This is very thought provoking and dramatic. I'm in awe at the beauty.
very omnious image..
Amazing. I see sentiments of your past images at work here. Specifically, Peace Park Hiroshima and The Red Queen (?) She is beautiful, both defiant and longing, half dark... I think this is a tragedy, in the classical sense because there seems to be some hope, but only after death. Sigh and submit...
