Description
... Wherein, verrry sloooowly, we redo the Slough image I posted last time.

(Thanks Blog!)
(Thanks killer3d!)
Killed the Specular! Played with the shoreline profile (that ugly square thing). Turned on every option: Premium AA, 36/pixel, DOF, True Amb, etc. etc. It took two tries at about a day apiece to render, at 1600x1200. Certainly, I can say about this Slough: "slow" and "Ugh"! But, I do like it more.

OK!! I'll start a new model! Thanks for the great comments.

Very well done lemonjim! That is for real an improvement, very convicing. I can see you standing there.... setting there... looking.... and looking.... and waiting. :) Been there done that. Nice work guy!
Very impressive, almost photoreal. My only question is, how many terabytes of ram would I need to turn on all my options and re-render the Nautilus? (that's a rhetorical question by the way)
Excellent job!
VOTE! This is brilliant work. Absolutely stunning and the premium render effects were the way to go. Great work.
incredible realism! outstanding render! v
So vibrant and real! Great use of DOF! Congrats!
I swear I just saw something move in there!
Very cool, very nearly photographic work!
I can't believe this was done in Bryce! I thought this was a macro in photography...i'm blown away! VOTE!
