Description
Some of you may remember -> this <- shot, posted almost a year ago and taken almost 5 years ago.
On this latest Tucson trip I hiked to the same spot in Saguaro National Park and took this very similar shot. Just thought the comparison was interesting.
Thanks for looking. :)

They look so majestically and powerful. Beautiful picture.
I guess Tedz means he's a little prickly... watch out for those prickly Studs... deserts have a beauty all their own... love the shot!

Beautiful.....
Beautiful compo... they seem to be having a good chat...
Love it and it's perfectly composed! Excellent!
Great shot! Quite alien those saguaros. Like it.
I'm always impressed by photos of these plants. Would very much like to see some with my own!!:-)
...is this Saguaro buried up to it's arms?...or a mutant??...either way - nice shot!
A perfect composition, Steve! They stand so majestically in the sand... most beautiful!
This Saguaro grew a little strangely! I live 2 miles from Saguaro National Monument East. You have inspired me to take a drive over there this weekend!
Always good to go back and see how much you've improved =) Both shots are fantastic =)
Good to see those spiky friends, we miss them here in the Netherlands. The clouds provide a special background. Beautiful composition!
Thanks for sharing, I love AZ so much!
There a bit like a lot of us I think, not changed much but just got a little bigger around the waistline!!
The cacti are always cool, but I also like what looks like a storm brewing in the background.
Rich, is speaking for himself of course;) A dramatic difference in mood between the 2 shots. Hope you didn't get wet...
A beautiful shot and place!!,excellent!!
Wonderful comparison F&J. Thanks a lot!! :-)
Saguaros and a prickly pear! It's unusual to have a saguaro branch that close to the ground. It would be trivial to make sure you got the same plant the second time. That almost looks like the same plant, buried in a lot of sand. It surprised me that you can bury a good part of the cactus, and it will still thrive.
