Description
Recieved a card from my mother recently that has this awesome image on it. So, I had to tackle it with Poser and Photoshop. I am unsure of who the original artist is but I wish to thank them whomever they are for the inspiration to do this picture.

I've seen the original before as well, and was equally impressed with it -- and I don't remember where I saw it either. I think you've really done a basically exellent job of posing and capturing the message of the image. As far as technical improvements go, I don't know what it looks like on your monitor, but for me, the dark areas are so dark as to be almost featureless, including your choice of a black shirt. Conversely, the pure whiteness of Jesus' robe, though symbolic, comes out so bright that the texture is lost. I know the original was contrasty for drama, but the colors had a range to them that left good definition that is lost a bit here. You might compensate by letting the yellow glow interact with the figures more instead of being simply a background object. It would feel "closer" to the viewer, and "around" the subject. Lastly, I think a little more bump and color variations would keep both skin textures from looking a little too plastic. Blessings to you & your work. --

I showed this picture to a friend today at school. Her statement about it caught me off guard. She said simply and I quote " Hey, thats that one guy from that movie" It really hit me then that there are those out there, that do not know Jesus, nor do they know of Jesus. Thank you all greatly for the inspirational words.
