I haven't been able to contribute anything to my gallery here for the past two months because I've been very busy Beta testing the next version of Strata 3D, which will be named "Strata 3D CX".
I was just given permission by Strata to post my Beta test images here, even though the testing isn't done. I hope you enjoy them.
This first one uses the new Strata LightDome, mapped with Debevec'ds Grace Cathedral HDR probe. Yes, Strata now supports full blown HDRI, in both .hdr and .exr formats.
This was Raytraced in about an hour. More to follow over the coming days; R'osity allows only 1 image upload per day now.

Only an hour? This image is incredible, the lighting, the reflections, the lighting, everything. Seems like it would take way more than an hour.
Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Not only did it take only an hour (58 minutes), but, this was rendered 1100 x and then reduced to the 800 x size you see above. Strata's Raytracer is quite fast.
I'm sure they would jump at the chance for you to post beta test images if they look this good. I want a copy! See, free advert for them.

This reminds me of the image I saw that first sold me on Strata years ago (only this is a million times better). What I mean is I'm so blown away I just have to get my hands on it! Spectacular work!
