Description
On my way to Arizona, I spent one afternoon in Joshua Tree National Park near Palm Springs, California. It's a fabulous place. As you can see, the weather was stormy... can you find the raindrop on my lens? :)

...rain in the desert -- wonderful smell and feeling......your photos always make me wish I was there right now!

Wonderful and moody Yes I think its about a third of the way down and an Inch in from the left!! But looks like a little swirl of dust on the wind..
YEAP - FANTASTIC!!!!
First I had my nose on the monitor to get a reeeeeal close look and find the raindrop. Now I sit here pointing at it with my finger. Did I get it right? It's a stunning beautiful image btw :-)
Astounding
Beautiful shot, but that is one strange rock. :c)
Reminds of a trip I ounce made. Good one.
No, don't see any raindrops! JT Park looks very unfamiliar to me with those clouds. Have been there twice in summer, terrible heat! No cloud! Temperatures to melt iron in! But there is an old Disney film, where one can see this desert in spring, with blossoms all over. Great photo! Well done!
Ya it looks like a big old rock at the bottom :) LOL - The rain drop that is - Spectacular photo I really like this !!
Those clouds and the light give a special atmosphere! What an experience... rain in the desert! Brilliant shot, Steve! And yep, I can see the raindrop... hehe... after reading Danny's comment wink

wonderful shot...love the dof...what an amazing place
Joshua Tree is one of my favorite spots (shot "Roadrunner wanted" there). This place always reminds me of prehistoric times. Your shot gives a lost impression. Like someone dropped of on a strange planet. I will have to go back sometime this year. If only it wouldn't take that long to get there.
Crisp shot...I think the drop may be the small white spot on the cloud in the upper right, right above the 1st closest mountain?? If I'm right, what do I win?? Excellent image Steve!!! :)
I see the raindrop in the middle left hand side. I love the landscapes you share with us. Amazing work. :))
Beautiful place and wonderful capture.
Oh Steve...this is wonderful...so much atmosphere, if you'll pardon the pun;) Fabulous use of the big old rock for foreground interest and depth...V
excellent shot !!!
Those colors I associate with down under. The dark clouds here gives it a very special mood. Very beautiful!
Dark again! Again a powerfull athmosphere!
not really... but luv the stormy sky against the desert view :]
sigh Just amazing....
I really like all the colors of the rock in contrast to the colorless sky. This is my favorite shot of your trip, so far...
Yep..."raindrop fuzzy" found before reading comments..I've seen images of JT National Park, some in B&W as well, but being there with an approaching storm is quite lovely indeed! Now quick...run for cover! [];^)
Great DOF Steve, didn't realise you had been to Mars!
