Description
this is my old truck i had a up to 1998 then it died on me so I had to get another truck but I bought one new.
I never had a hot rod loved to had one but no money when I got this old truck it needed a paint job; so I ask my son to help me he was into low riders had all the magazines and all. So I draw up a design and he picked the colors.
I say ok and the paint I used was industrial paint I could get the white and blue free off the job and the metal primer . the purple I bought for $18 and the the body work i did myself and the paint job I did my self. A pro body man told me I did it all wrong I used the wrong type of paint and I never get it to shine plus I cut the tips off of my desizn. I say it just a work truck and i LIKE TO BE DIFF THAN OTHERS .
I got a lots of looks driveing down the road plus the cops looked too. but I know I was in the law. I drove this way for four years then it die on me for good.
Thanks for looking and commenting and votes and haveing a good time

Now this is what "art-decco" is all about, and to express in a truck --- BRAVO!!!! Nicely done..;o)
Fine looking truck! You did a great job restoring it, too bad it died. I can see why it turned a lot of heads!

Sweet! Nice paint job! My ex-husband paints cars for a living.
Looks like you got the last laugh, great looking truck! Now you have to find some way of painting a brick design on one, love that purple though!
Only a man with the heart of an artist could paint a truck in such a wonderful way. I love the colors and the story. Thanks for sharing this. :)
