tried another version using true ambience and no lights with a white skydome and an hdri fake sphere surrrounding the scene. took probably 30+ hours to render- most likely the last time i will use that effect :)

True ambience really is a CPU cruncher isn't it. I wonder what difference it would have made to just have the HDRI sphere, but TA turned off. Turned out nice in anycase.
thanks for the comments- drawbridge, just finished it without TA (and just regular AA) and I will post in the forum, does not have the same "shimmer" if that is the right word..
