Description

A jet powered submarine I'm building in trueSpace. Rendered in Bryce 4. Just a few outside details and the interior left to do. :) The idea came from the old Tom Swift Jr series of books. :) Greywolf

The model looks quite good. Who wrote the Tom Swift Jr. books, and when? What are they about?

The Tom Swift books were a series of books written for younger readers in the mid fifties, similiar to the Hardy Boys mysteries. They are about a young inventor who goes on all kinds of interesting adventures, using the various things he invents to help him out. The jetmarine was what he came up with in the second book to help him combat high tech pirates in the Caribbean. Written by Victor Appleton II. I'll do the seacopter next. :)
