Enjoy, comments welcome as always)) March 9th, 2003 - 6:54pm Dear Self, You will not believe what happened to me today. Well, I've not written in months and months, so you don't know that my cat was pregnant. So today, anyway, Shylo had her kittens! There were three, but one died. So, yeah...but the two others are so small and cute, and they have the smallest, cutest little faces I've ever seen! One (the first to be born) is white with black speckles all over it and it has a cute little black smudge on its nose. The other one is almost all gray and has white feet, tummy and a little white nose. They are so sweet...the sweetest things I've ever seen. I've always had a small yearning to have a litter of kittens. Mice and rats are okay, but kittens...they're just...wow. I don't know if the kittens are male or female yet, but once I do know, I don't care what mom says - I'm naming them. So anyway, diary, that was my day. For a short while, mom wouldn't let me see my grandchildren, but I got to see them. I'm already in love with them, and I truthfully dread the day I'll be forced to give them to the cruel hands of the animal shelter. With all my love, -Summer, age 13
