Description

This is another view of the b'fly. This is the b'fly thats seen all over here as of now. I do see some dark colored ones but have not been able to find one nursing on a flower. This butterfly was in full intoxication when I captured it as you can see from the 'proboscis' (The suction straw) is deep into the flower. Hope you like this. Like Your Sub Continent Home....these ravish My Greens, and are the predominate Butty at the moment....but, they do not slurp on such delicious Flowers as Yours...just the Cabbages and Cauliflowers . Perfection :]

Wow..he looks like he's drinking the nectar of the gods there in that image. I had a butterfly land in my hair one time and un-knowingly brought it in with me.. it became a buddy..and I fed it fresh fruit..like I'd cut a grape in half and let it sit on my hand and drink.. It was fascinating as you could see the liquid being drawn up into his straw. Butterflys do have huge appetites.
