Description
Remembering those fantastic old carousels of yesteryear. Over 6000 carousels were made in the late 1800's to early 1900's. Of those thousands, only about 200 remain. The rest have been abandoned or destroyed...
Rendered in Bryce... no postwork except for sig...
Thanks for viewing:-)

I love this picture. A real melancholy feel to it. Well done. The clouds and dark day really add feeling.
This is wonderful Gail. Gives off such a sad aura...too bad things like this have been allowed to happen, but you captured the dispair expertly!
Very nice, have been thinking of tackling the project of a carousel and this pic makes me more determined to do so.
OMG! THIS IS WONDERFUL! You've outdone yourself, Gail.
What a fantastic pic, sad in it's way, but absolutely excellent work !!
Very sad but very good!!
Stunning, fantastic work!!!!! WOW....
Beautifully Done Gail
Awww, this is wonderful but sort of sad too
Someone used the word melancholy for this picture and that's a good word choice.
GAIL, this is gorgeous!!!!!
Well done, Gail. This is a lovely image.
Strong emotional scene. Lovely.
Wow!!! Stunning work. Awesome idea executed beautifully. The thistle in the foreground looks fantastic and the horse on the ground is perfect. v

It's a pitty such past times are fading like they are, your depiction here gives us memories to hold onto.Excellent Rendering ! :)
Amazing tribute to all those carousels that made us happy once. This is an extreme theme indeed. One really depth and lovely.
This is great Gail!!
Oh my... this is so beautiful! The light is just perfect, and the atmosphere you have created here is simply amazing. Thumbs up!
It is a shame such artistry is forgotten. At least some theme parks have picked up these classic amusements to bring new life into them. Very sad and emotional image. Well done...
Bad ground texture. The tree also looks fake and could be done with out. Change both and then you might have something :)
Awesome work Gail!
