Where was that observation dome over the engines? I recall an episode where Apollo claimed it was a peaceful place to visit, once you were past the engines and their noise.
I like this model! Good idea to post it in big size, so I can pay attention to every detail. Can't wait to see this in a complete scene. Fine render !!
Love the detail work :)
A small version of the ship with a background is located at my web site: http://www.seansgallery.com/cgi-bin/showpicture.cgi?picture=galactica1B&menu=7
Excellent work whith perfect detail, great render
Wow, this is such great work! Excellent detail.
in a while, you can try your hand at the 'new' version, Sci-fi channel's going to pick up BG as a series..
Ack! anyone got some blueprints? :-)
I like it. Very nice detail and texture.
flawless texturing and modeling Excellent Work
would love to see you do the new Batterstar Galactica design from the Sci-Fi channel's new TV series!
I keep getting instant messages telling me the same thing... :-)
Superb. You do amazing work. Do you have any vipers, bay ships or raiders in the works?
I have a viper mesh: http://www.seansgallery.com/newpics/viperGI1.jpg It needs some seious retexturing work and a cocit added, but I have not worked on it in over two years. The Star wars and Blade runner projects take up most my CG time.
Awesome modeling and detailing!
Excellent detail indeed!
Only one thing I see wrong with this render: the name should be in red instead of black. Other than that, if you put this against a backdrop you'd have a hard time knowing this wasn't a screengrab from the show! As for the NEW SHOW: the action scenes are kind of cool, but overall it's just not as good as the original(the cylon fighters SUCKED, among other things).
