Description
Annee is my latest dwarf warrior woman. Poking around an old temple in the jungle, she gets a rude shock when she has to stand off a raptor. Fortunately for her, the creature is curious, rather than hungry.
Thanks to Nikita Creed over at RNDA for the terrain and backdrop and the backdrop picture. Judith Ward and Chris Oldershaw made Transpond's Jungle Pack and the grasses (from their Grasslands and Scrublands series also on sale at RNDA). All of these were designed for Poser, but I adapted them to Bryce in which they were rendered, with minor post work in PaintShopPro.
Thanks also to John Mallis, whose own female dwarf warrior has been inspiring me to create a whole army of the same. He also created the belt and the leather article hanging in front--whatever it's called. The mace, both swords, scabbard, quiver and arrows were Net freebies, but I have no idea who made them. Annee's hair is Kyoshi's Hair for Eve with a new hair color that I created in PSP. Everything else was doen by me.
A lot of Annee's armor doesn't fit her very well. At the time I modeled her I didn't know how to make clothing fit snuggly. I've learned since then but haven't had time to go back and rework her clothing. One of these days....
Hope you enjoy this and thanks for looking.
Jeremy

Looking outstanding as always. I would think that dwarf clothing wouldn't fit very well in all cases anyhow. For the sake of imagination ... they either take time out from warrior work to make their own or buy ready made from a peasant. Either way "close" would be good enough I suspect. Izzat your raptor? Cool - leather rather than scales. The Leather thing hanging down in front - if its a pouch - mountain men called it a "possables" bag. Ancient concept similar to modern man's kitchen junk drawer. If its not a pouch - I dont have a clue, leather thingy is my guess. hehehe. OK - I will shut up and go back to sleep ... A VOTE for ya.
excellent my friend,a good work.
Yes, I did the rapter in Poser. Retired, it is scales, not leather, although they do look rather like leather too. As to the clothing, the "leather thingy" is often made of chain mail and its function is to help protect the groin and upper leg area (supposed to help deflect or get the opponent's sword tangled up in it, I guess.) She uses leather because she is an ill-paid mercenary warrior and she's sunk all her capital in the metal "bikini." She's upgrading her equipment as she can (as do we all, hee, hee). I still can't think what it is called, though.
wow! great image!
