Description

Created with PSP8 Using own script which copies merged layer, merges it, pastes it on top then Multiply blends it. This is done multiple times with different blend modes... (c)2003 FiXato Artwork || Filip H.F. Slagter Edit 8-2-2004 @ 02:02:02h GMT+1: Changed the title "Rainbow Cross A" into "Portal to Death - Master of Hanging Souls" after re-analysing this image with my good friend Isha-NightWalker. My fellow walker of death showed me a new meaning to this image... If you look carefully at the center of the image, you will be able to see more... you will see two dead bodies being held by the fingers of the master that grabs them through a hidden portal to the realm of death... you will also be able to witness the observers of death, looking down of the mortal humans. I dare you to look close at the image... witness the hidden shock... becarefull though... that the Master of Decay does not grab you ... it surprised and even scared me... that there is more to this image than seen at first glimpse... For me it always was a Cross... even a RAINBOW cross... my friend Isha-NightWalker though... he showed me the true meaning... damn spooky to see that I have embedded so much hidden terror in my work subconsciously... ---- UPDATE Tuesday 10 February 2004 My good friend C.Poel aka Isha-NightWalker also wrote a nice poem to accompany this image. ~Realm of darkness~ Part 1) The Dark One --- I am the lord of this dark place Wherever you look, you?ll see my hidden face From the shadows I?m watching over you My eyes see all Don?t play tricks with me Or you will meet your doom There?s nothing I don?t see This realm is mine And I do here as I please Try to stand against me And your rotten soul will freeze To you I might seem harsh But I am fair and just You just have to be In this place, Where there is no-one you can trust Part 2) Lost souls whom scream --- These Lost Souls, they scream in fear Their noise is music to my ear For them there is no hope They have no chance Tricksters and murderers in life Lost and hopeless now forever more They feel the wrath I bring on them As they brought theirs on others before Screams of fear and pain Echo through these halls A moment of silent fear When a Soul is slain Or into oblivion one falls Part 3) Hanging over Oblivion --- He grabs us with hands ice-cold For we listened not To what he had told Hanging over oblivion There is no greater torment Than to know that every second could mean the end To leave all existence And be forgotten ----- (c)2004 C.Poel aka Isha-NightWalker

A small hint... turn the image around 180 degrees and look again... you will see more evil creatures...
