Description
This is not one of my best, but certainly--for me--an interesting composition. I like the monotone world with this gaudily dressed alien woman the sole source of color in the composition. She is my first alien woman, who I have rejected because she is too human in her face. (I'm working on one who looks more like the alien male pictured elsewhere in this gallery.)
This was an experiment in using terrains for modeling. There are no flat planes in this composition. Everything, except the Poser figure is a Bryce 5 terrain. I have to say that I was rather disappointed in the result. I think material covered planes would have worked better and been a lot easier to have produced. This was also a render intensive picture, taking almost three days to render. This is another pic that I want to come back and redo someday. Nevertheless, I am offering it (for a while anyway) as something hopefully interesting, rather than as a good piece of art.
I might also mention that she is the female alien in my Bubble X picture elsewhere in this gallery. I have just uploaded a slightly revised version of that picture, which you might like to check out.
Thanks for looking.

Like the fantastic depth of this picture, but not the figure. Great work!
Oh, rats! Just realized that she has thrust her hand through her side! Thought I'd taken care of that. Guess I'm going to have to stop uploading while sleep deprived. That's two goofs in two days. I'll get that fixed soon. Wahnfried1959, what is it about the (Other then the hand thing.)Thanks.
