first ,she is very pretty. I like the way you did the hair. very realistic and skin tones
I wish I could give constructive advice, but I really have no idea on how to create such images. I really like the eyes though, you've mastered that...hair looks great too.
Thanks yesitis3 and Masema for your comments. Colored pencil is so difficult to get enough layers for a three dimentional looking drawing. My daughter has such pretty eyes that she is usually referred to as "bright eyes". I just had to show them the way they look. Thanks so much for your comments and encouragement. Hugs to you. Lorraine
She has gorgeous eyes, lovely drawing, the skin and hair look great, excellent work.
this is beautiful, i really like it just the way it is... the coloring is perfect... the symmetry is not... but who's face is exactly symmetrical... if anything it adds a lovely innocence to the drawing :] hugz
Beautiful portrait!! Very "lively"! Amazing colors here! Great work Lorraine! :)
perfectly beautiful! :)
she's a wonderful beauty and so are you .. this portrait is sensitive and brilliantly showing your love and her chraming face :) I adore it :)
I could never critique something that was crafted with such obvious love. This is a stunning portrait, so full of spirit :) Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful image of your daughter Hugs to both of you :)
She's getting more like you every day Lorraine......still a cracker! :) ... Other than the scan being a little off square, i cant see anything else wrong with this. excellent as always. well done
Wonderfully done. As far as critique, I think a bit more shading. Often when working from a photograph that was taken with a flash (and I'm just assuming that), the camera tends to wash out the shadows. Then when you try to paint from that, it has a tendency to need more shadows to make it more 3D again. Still though, I love the expression and the skin tones...
