Description

Aliens modeled in Poser5. Everything else modeled in Bryce5. The craft is an "antigravity Ford," I guess. Weakness is the planet below them, but I was trying to make an three-dimentional small habitable planetoid and not just map a sphere. Need to add a "haze sphere" around the atmosphere to produce a haze line and somehow make the clouds 3D rather than just a flat plane (or sphere? Ha!). Here is an updated version of my Bubble picture that corrects what I felt was a problem with the glass being too dark a green. Although some of you thought it was fine the way it was, I wanted to show off the aliens and the inside of the craft. I think this improves that and makes for a more interesting picture. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to do anything to the planet. Thanks for looking.

The planet might need work but the aliens and their "Ford" are just perfect. (I like green)

Very well done. To me it seems the height of the mountains would not apparent at this altitude. Otherwise great work.

98Bones, what you may not realize is that it is not a planet, but a planetoid, closer to a round asteroid than a planet. It isn't very big, maybe 15 or 20 miles in diameter. I figure any race that can control gravity could create an artificial gravity that would make it possible for such a worldlet to retain an atmosphere and water, etc. This small rock is their home and the mountains would be larger in proportion to the curvature than on a world like our Earth.
