Description
Finnaly I was able to sit down and work on an image, I havent had much time for myself the past couple of weeks. Inspired by the scene from the 3rd Lord of the Rings film, where the armies of sauron have overrun Osgiliath and are moving the huge seige towers across the brdige.
This is my 1st Lord of the Rings pic since ROTK came out, and I cant express my satisfaction with all 3 movies, I doubt I will see anything like them again.
Anywayz, i tried to have this one finished and posted by the 4th--because it was a year ago I posted my first picture here, and I think that really launched my interest and goals in Bryce and 3d art. Thanks to everyone here for everything in the past year.
Thanks and have a nice day!

Amazing--simply amazing. Bravo! And, Vote!
Beautiful work woodhurst, it looks like an ancient ink drawing. The amount of detail you have there is extaordinary and makes this a fantastic representation of the LOTR trilogy. 8)

Holy crap but this is awesome work!!! Gotta vote.
Oh my GOD! This is gorgeous!!!
I know you used some photograph images in here but they're blended 'mysteriously' into the overall image. The use of greyscale and the sharp textured details remind me of some classic paintings (sorry I'm not familiar with fine art to tell you what time period). You're very smart in where you put the detail and where you didn't (sharp modeling and textures for the stone, brush strokes for the orcs). And happy anniversary - you're learning faster than me!
impressive.and visually they are great movie, indee. The storyboard is not faithful to the books, but for a graphic artist that can't be enough to dismiss them...
WOW!!! Sorry to be so late here. Visually stunning image! And did I ever tell you, you are the king of LOTR images! Excellent job!
