Well, ok, that's what I make my daughter do, anyway!
Just having some light fun here.
The toothpaste and green toothbrush were part of the extensive libraries that came with Strata 3.9 Pro. They did require quite a bit of adjustment, in both texture and modelling to get them to be renderable, but they were time savers, for sure; I adjusted, and then adopted the original green toothbrush to make the blue one, in fact, in mere minutes.
If you notice, the water in the rinsing glass is a bit cloudy, just like it is right after you pour it from the bathroom sink.
Raytraced in about 20 minutes, 25 pixel OS, no Anti-Aliasing, slight DOF blur for the fore and background objects.

Here I am, late as usual, my apologies my friend. What I really love and have come to appreciate about almost all of your renders Howie - is there down to earth home atmosphere - little slices taken from real life. This isn't to say all your images reflect that particular subject - such as your "Essence of Evil Trilogy" and other works like "Squiggle" - but a goodly number of your images all reflect common everyday things that many of us take for granted. The 2nd thing that I love about your skilled imagery is the realism that you strive for and achieve - and this little bathroom scene is a perfect example. I think the mirrored reflection adds so much impact, beautifully done my friend.
Yaknow... I think "LCGuy" and I think of Comic art colors... Then I return to your gallery and my jaw drops and it all hits me again ;)
