Description
::: Part 24 of a series of Warbird Photos :::
Taken at the Planes of Fame Museum on Chino Airport, California at the 'RECONNAISSANCE AIRCRAFT' Event. (1/3/04)
This aircraft is an AT-6 Texan. The Texan is considered the world's greatest Trainer aircraft. Produced in astounding numbers, this aircraft was the primary for just about every fighter pilot of World War 2. The Texan, believe it or not, looks a lot like the Japanese Zero. In the movie Tora! Tora! Tora!, they took a lot of Texans and converted them to Zeros!
Camera is a digital Minolta Dimage 7hi (5 MP). This image has been shrunk down to 33% of the original full size. Manual Focus, custom White Balance, and custom contrast/exposure value settings to help in the harsh sunlight.
