Description

The Smiley 2.0 is always guaranteed to say something happy and emotionally uplifting to you. While not entirely bug-free, it does however bring in needed support for borderline psychopaths and people with other severe disorders. It will sing a tune on command, perform at least 10 household tasks, relight your smokes and even take the dog out for a walk. It's completely self-sufficient through a series of energy points that collect the needed battery life from the surrounding environment (see gold receptacles). Well, scene wise it's a semi-dome of lights encased in a hollow sphere with a photo map applied to it... the robot's modelled by me in Wings3D. The hands are a small addition from a certain character modelling program, and that's about it. About a million faces in Bryce, took me forever to smooth the damned thing even in Wings. Anyway, pretty happy with it, he looks like a winner. Looking forward to making it poseable or putting it in a scene.

Made me smile! If he does dishes, laundry, windows, vacuums and shovels snow, I'll buy him!

I'm learning Amapi to make my robot models. Maybe we can have them fight each other.
