Description
It has been a long time sense I had the time to sit down and just play with CG. Too Long...
Here is the work done over the last few hours on a set of Stargate armor for a Jackel guard. (Don't ask - It is for my nephew's desktop image)
I know it isn't the correct weapon but this is "my" SciFi and I needed a place holder. So the sword was it. I do not have any reference material for the Jaffa staff weapon and it is not as easy to model from memory as the basic armor. If you have good pics of the staff weapon, I would love to see them. And Thanx...

As I do love Stargate, I think this a great idea and great modeling. The one thing that will make this is getting awesome textures to do the modeling justice. Well done!
there's loads of Stargate sites out there with screen caps, most of the armour was the head of a serpent, but there's no reason there couldn't be this style as well..as for the Go'auld staff weapon or z'at gun, I've modelled both in 3ds, if you want, IM me and I'll send them your way.
Thanx for the comments guys. I used this head because my nephew has a thing for the stargate game out or due out. He sent me a pic of this head in lieu of the serpent. Maybe it is his favorite. And thanx for the offer on the weapons pakled.
This is great and I believe the jackel guards makes an appearance in the 2nd season (not sure though, but definitely after Carter was blended). I look forward to seeing what more you do to all this :)
