Description
Release!
The Mars Lander USS Robert Goddard firing maneuvering thruster as it unhooks from its docking harness and prepares for the decent to the Martian surface. This is the first in a series showing all stages from release to landing on Mars. The model was created in Bryce5 from scratch, all concepts and designs by me. Thanks for taking a peek!
Cheers,
David ;-)

lovely space scene
You have a fantastic feeling fore the space.
Excellent image!..... we have sent a ship called the beagle 2 to Mars it will be landing on Christmas Day! Yes, named after Charles Darwin's ship the beagle. Thanks for helping to show us how important space travel is!
A true masterwork of modelling and design. Like I've said before if the space program put in as much effort as you have into these images, we'd have had a manned mission to Mars go there and back by now. Take care.
Awesome, Just awesome. :o]
Great to see these intricately detailed models in action, they make for outstanding images!
Beautifully done - wonderfully modeled and executed!
Wow, stunning work Dave, feels like I'm watching from another ship!
this is amazing. all your work is excruciatingly detailed, showing a talent that few of us are able to match. cheers!
w00t w00t! this looks more realistic than the stuff nasa makes to try and convince us there are really men in space! jk. great work. Awesome modelling.
