Hi all! I wanted to retire my old ant and used this philodendron plant that I made for a possible upcoming commercial project. Hope you like it.

Excellent job! Beautiful image!! Dave
Wow its almost photographic, excellent
Nice image!
That's another winner - I'll be sorry to say goodbye to your ants, though!
This is amazing work DeZ! :)
I agree with everyone else! This is fantastic! :) Absolutely wonderful. It's a shame though, that you can see some white lines at the edges of the leaf. Perhaps making the alphaplane smalle would help? Anyway, amazing work! It's a winner!
Thanks! Thomas, I have had a few problems with the alphas, and I have now updated the scene by manually removing the edges. I had to do separate renders for the DOF to work as Cinema has problems adding DOF through alpha transparancies.
Beautiful! Love the leaf... and the ants too
Really nice leaf texture... you have the feeling of "wetness" there that is hard to achieve.
Incredible detail..VOTE
great plant texture. cool....
Excellent! Also enjoyed your article in issue 7.
Exellent great again Dave.
hey hey ...masterful job again !! :)
freakin tight, dont know what i like more the dof, or the pov, texturing is very well done, overall a very beautiful composition.
Excellent stuff there.
Amazing realism!
One of the best images I have ever seen!!!
Absolutely excellent leaf material!! Man, show your screenshot!! [joke:P] The ants are too big... Or maybe there really are such ants where the philodendrons grow;) Congrats for your C4D work. Pity I had to abandon this program... I wouldn`t if I could follow its development. An excellent app in the hands of excellent artists.
