Description
Another experiment. Wanted to find out how grainy one can go.
I exposed the film with 1600 ASA (instead of 400) and "cooked" the film in hot developer (60 degrees i would say). To force everything. And then i used high contrast paper. That's what came out!

Hmmm - interesting. I used to teach photography and it's always good to experiment. If you want a better quality grain - try this: Take a shot on 1600 ISO colour negative film. Get it developed only by your local lab and then print it on grade five black and white paper, it can be very atmospheric.
Excellent grain. Looks like a long lost discarded photo. Well done.
I'm very curious what will come out of your experiments! Keep the good work up!
The old grain, good picture
Ooooo I like these experiments! It gives it a sense of age. Maybe you should spend more time in the darkroom?!!
Well, I know about cooking films, but that was about food :) i like this very much, esspecialy because of youre intresting workflow. Love to hear and see more. Its this kinda work that leads to new idears and methodes. Chapo.
I'd probably be pretty grainy if you cooked me for an hour at 60' too! Does look like a real faded old photograph. I like this a lot.
nicely done. Lots of possibilities.
Next you'll be blowing up your darkroom. ;-) Very cool experiment, Walther!
Well done.
