Description
Seemed to fit the "Chiaroscuro" theme for the Nov Challenge.
-*-
This digital photo was taken indoors at the SF Ferry Plaza. Then using the Painter tools, it became an oil painting. This time I did apply a light paper texture but only on some parts.

The flower season is drawing to a close. I'll have to wait until next spring for new material -but not to worry, I have several (hundred) leftovers to digest, maybe one or two good ones in there. And, there's more to life than flowers! (Like fish, for example. I want to work on a nice fish image!)

Beautiful!
Gorgeous! Wonderful work!
Beautiful. I look forward to seeing the fish - the subtle play of light on scales - that'll be a good challenge for you! You're certainly up to it!
I really like the way you picked up the light with your brush strokes & gave the image so much life, don't forget to post a link in the 2D forum for the theme!
Excellent work! Roses are so perfect! Light very cool! YEAH! Emiliano
Beautiful image, excellent artwork. :)
this is a wounderful, wounderful creation Jim, so well fit for the nov theme challenge!!!
I agree, fish are cool, Koi pond images are REAL big around these parts. How 'bout some surreal tableaus of flowers and fish juxtaposed?
you flower love :) I will soon find a chinese name for you to glorify the absolutely stunning delicacy that you have in portraying flowers. You make even the most beautiful roses... being even MORE beautiful :)
I like your post work on this really complements the subject, super colours. :0 )
