Description
Thus this human is granted the highest possible honour amongst his people. Engulfed in flames, his body is torn apart, the human shell discarded. Wings grow and its scream rips through the air. Through the flames and ashes, rises a new lord, a new immortal.
All you staring in awe, behold the rise of a new king, behold the birth of the Phoenix!
----------
This image arose from the ashes of the one that preceedes it in this gallery of mine. I used the same scene and just moved the camera back, moved the light a bit, tinkered with the cone angle and length and voila! A phoenix is born!
There's also a 724kb Quicktime movie clip of this, so if you really want to see it, IM me your email and I'll send it off. I hope you like :)
----------
By the way, if you can't see how this could be a phoenix, look at the shape formed by the white and yellow light at the center. To me at least, it looks like a bird spreading it's wings :)
