Description

While walking down a path in a wooded area near Jordan MN - I came upon a gate made of tree limbs - tied together with vines - no nails a very organic structure - Almost unreal - I raise my camera to take a picture and this creature of beauty bolted into the path just on the other side of the gate - without thinking my shutter released - as I raise my head away from my camera to regain my composure before my next shot the path was empty - as if it had never happened - and in my mind I new that indeed it was just the light playing tricks - as it does at times - nothing more - I continued through the gate - a strangness surround me - and for a moment I began to anticipate what may be ahead - When I down loaded the days photo's one photo emerge - I have kept this to myself till now unsure of what was - I have decided to share this image with you with the hope I have not been the only one to have had such a experience - All I can say is Big foot eat your heart out - I know what I will search for on my next expidition ! - Thank You for viewing - - SoulEatar -

I just got so immersed in your Story...before the Image Loaded....I thought to myself....He has seen an Alien too...now, of course ... said the Horse...it's a Lovely Satyr....just beyond a mere Mans reach...which don't apply to You. Go get Her Boy!!!

You are surely makin' magic for us with this one, Greg. When you fill your days with wonder you have to expect these little glitches in the fabric of things. Just enjoy the moment, as I have enjoyed your whole presentation.

Thank You for all your great comments - I noticed that in the process of decreasing the size there has been some distortion and change in the image - I have tried to correct this but there is a feel of intimacy and a lose of cleaness in the image - If anyone knows how to prevent such things please Help :)

Wonderful vision! I give you the same advice I gave to Thinkingoriginal: When you resize an image do it in several steps and use unsharp mask inbetween. Hope it helps!

Wonderful work Greg.. As for the problems you describe there are several reasons for it.. Need to know what it is you do.. I work till the last minute in Tiff or non compressed format and save only once into Jpeg using save for web in Photoshop7 Guns tip is good but whatever dont save and resave in Jpeg as you will lose detail each time..

The depth, light and shade, subtle textures, etc. drawing the path inward toward the implied vanishing point are SQUEEZEETO! See, I tollya you'd be spickin' Spaghetti Western Biker lingo soon enough"For A Fistful Of Harleys"(?), hehe. SUPERB and ENCHANTING, including the "lead-in"....
