Description
Trapped in Ice and Time is the story of a down on his luck guy who seems to always be caught between a rock and a hard place. Something I can relate to.
This isn't a real book cover BTW. After rendering it, I realized it looked better in either a movie poster or book cover format. Noah J. Atherly is a character from the book I've mentioned before, in which he is a writer. Confusing eh?
Comments/Votes always welcome if you feel the urge.
Thanks for viewing as always!
Poser/Vue/Photoshop
The guy was posed and matted in Poser, put into Vue where it was rendered and just some color correction for postwork (except for the titles of course).

Excellent Work!!
very dramatic! perfect expression color !excellent image v
Wonderful! His expresion, his skin color and the blue cracked ice makes one feel he is indeed trapped under water with seemingly no way out. It reminds me of the way Sylvester Stallone in Demolition Man...the cryo-prison scene. Fabulous!...Cheryl
sorry i am late (too much work you know :-) - but this is too cool to miss up - hey, wow, shadow this is a fabulous piece - the ice is great - the expresion of that poor traped guy is outstanding - one of your best i think, i really love this piece - congrats

"Joey! How did your grandmother get under the ice!?" Something rambling around in my head about diamonds. Walking with pall can bring such thoughts out.
Nice idea! It does look like a book cover or movie poster...you could try to sell it as that...I guess? Anywho, Very creative image!
Interesting idea & composition - not to mention original lighting !
Great Job,Very Cool Image..or should I say Cold Image...lol
This is a great picture. I like the expression on his face, and I sympathize with his suffocating below the frozen ice.

Awesome artwork! I don't want to be him that's for sure. Excellent artwork!
I'm not confused in the least my friend! I like the concept & your way of thinking! The image is very haunting! It deserves a book (in the least an episode of the "Twilight Zone" or "Outer Limits") :):):)
