on the technical side, proud to present another 100% lightwave image :)
i'm still not very good at the displacement map busines. i guess mostly because my computer can't handle very complex meshes very efficiently, so i have to stick to a simpler ground plane thing, which means i achieve less detailed landscapes. oh well
i still like it :)
and i really do wish i had a backyard like this heheh

Well, when I loaded the picture, I saw the corner first, and I was like, Cool grass! Unmowed though :) Good job though :) Gotta post your other picture soon now too :)

Lowering your camera angle so you can't see the horizon would help. Also go to backdrop and add skytracer and put in some clouds! That'll improve the look by a ton. The Grass looks really good though, you'll have to tell us how you did it.

Hey Bud, looking great. How did you make that grass like that? Looks like this scene could use two chairs close up seperated by a little table with beers on ice in a metal bucket while someone blowing into a Corona bottle.- hehe

i'm currently working on a tutorial for the grass that i'll be posting here. it's hard with exams coming up though. i'll try and get it done asap :)
