What a pefect shot! It eems that the buttie has gone through some battle, judging by the scar...
Perfect...wings spread wide open....cool markings! :)
Oh my! Perfect indeed.. breathtakingly beautiful, wish I had some of those butties here. :( vote =)
This looks fantastic with the blurred background. First I thought the butterfly sat on a window, but with that plant on the right I know I was wrong...
Nice Shot!

Wow. wow. eh wow. Rebel rocking shot. Can we discuss , a borowing?
Very beautiful photo of a beauty of a butterfly. Such cool symetrical designs on its wings. I want a closeup lens now! Happy Halloween...and Peace :-)
Both "Butterfly" images are wonderful!
the refined perfection of this is as pleasant as a paint. the black and yellow, the crux opening of the tiny long wings. awesome.
A broken wing, but the whole shot is awesome! Perfect background with green and yellow :) Love it!
Great shot of a great butterfly--Perfect--
So that's: macros of butties, landscapes and skies mastered...what next:) Really wonderful work..guess you had a great time chasing these..a warm relaxed feel underlies the shots:))
A tip of the hat to the Maestro!! Love it, Steve!! vote
How do you get these?! That's...well...as everyone else said...perfect.
Perfect sharp macro! Great maybe another butterfly-lover is born!?
One of my fav's Steve. I like the contrasting colours of the background against the striking b/w of the butterfly, battle scars and all:)
LOL@Hasexx....Steve? You using dead things?;) Another top-notch butterfly shot man:)Yup looks like it has seen a tour of duty or two with those scars:D
At last I can see these a wonderful shot Steve getting the colours right in this species is not easy a tribute to both your skill and the optics that Canon is certainly superb.. The more flutterbugs like this the better!!
