This is great work, and, because you insisted, I looked long and hard for something to improve. So this will sound a little nittpicky, but have you ever noticed with the Vue fir and some others, the little wood bit that extends a little higher than is natural above the foliage? Anyway, I always trim that off in Photoshop with the clone tool.

You have excelled yourself James! this is stunning! I love the trees, and the rutts in the road are very very well done. The thing that sets it all off for me though is that little frozen stream! Just beautiful J! I see nothing I would change except maybe the tops of the trees as Regal pointed out.
