Description
this is still really a WIP as ive got to sort out the lighting etc but most of the details are there (even if its too dark to see them). its kind of a follow up to my tunnel crawler pic as i wanted to use the funky wall textures somewhere else.
i was going for that story book illustration look with the grainey focus. i think i may need a few more color variations in there though.

If the back ground had just a hint of blue it would really show off the depth if the image. This would make a lovely illustration or animation.
One trick for the "illustrated" look is to blur and desaturate the background. . .this brings the viewers' attention to the characters. . .

This looks very cool! I think this has potential to be part of a short film.... so, are ya goona?
I really like it flak. About the only change I might suggest is the color scheme. A lot of the color in the foreground and background are alike and they kind of wash each other out, if you know what I mean.
Very nice scene! I agree with the color-scheme-comment. When you would use warm colors on the foreground and cool behind it would already help to give clearer depth. Did you Greeble? I like it!
