just a knot.

Thanks to peppe for the rusty texture! I made the terrain tile from a photo I shot. Lorenz knot from KnotPlot, just relaxed and twfixed it, then objout'ed switch to bryce, file:import, hooray!
However sometimes it will fail, i think bryce cannot import just any .obj file. Closed knots work and braids fail, maybe because they are open-ended.

thanks for your thought!

Indeed, the texture is luscious. Nice terrain tile too! The whole effect is almost photo-real, kudos. ( you knot-head! ;o)
It is a very good shot! Excellent done - like a photo.
Agree, agree wit dat! That's the rustiest rust, Have it I must!
I like the knot and its texturing, I like the terrain tile as well, although I think that a different background for the knot would make it much more striking and would create more of an interest. I realize that this was,(more than likely) just an experiment in both procedures. It would be interesting to see this knot used differently, because its a great knot..just some thoughts......after all, what are thoughts anyway, just our own twisted knots inside...Haha...!!
The knot is mesmerizing, but what I love most is the light: perfect!
there0's much merit here.. your style in composition and understanding of beauty emotionally and technically is always a wonder.
