Description
Just a photograph I had taken at the "Temple of the Emerald Buddha" here in Bangkok, Thailand. I was trying to come up with some fancy compositions and experiment with depth of field.
It didn't work.

Wicked shot, Moe! I really got to get out your way one of these days. You could try cutting out the main lion and blur the backround. Just an idea. :0)
Great shot. These are really neat lions when you see them in their entirety. The thumb struck me more as a seriously deranged viking.

All the white around it makes it almost look as if it is hovering, nice effect ;)

Ahh youve been on tour again. Traditional asian art is very fascinating indeed especially the temples. Much more fancyfull than the Gothic stuff here in the north lol, Inside of some Cathedrals you are bound to get depressions, its such s dark mood. One day, i swear , when i work for Spielberg or Lukas and have the money for a Trip ill fly to asia, for inspiration looooooool.

This is a great photo Moe. What I find interesting is the contrast between the old weathered appearance of the statues and the newness of the forms that they are resting upon. Also, the fact that the young cub being protected very nice and interesting. Such wonderful forms captured by your photographic eye.
