*The rest is silence.*
William Shakespeare

Photoshop. 20 minutes work for September Theme "The Silence", from these sources.
As you see the title was meant to be another one.

Just a meditation about death. The most silent of all realities, here treated and faced with Ancient Greek and Roman spirit of acceptance and serenity.
The sleep of the one who lived a plenty, fair life is the rest of a soul to be remembered and treasured also from those who are to survive him.
I am forced at death's thoughts these days when a dear cousin battles for her life still after an Aneurysm occured her on Ponte Vecchio last Friday, so I prefer to see the hope even in this piece, than not.
Death is what makes us appreciate even more life, and to stand its shadow we have to believe it has some sense in the "maximum system", and that's what I do.
There are days when it's harder, but I will keep on thinkin so also in these.
Have all a nice week, and if you won't see me much online, you will know I am at the hospital supporting my family's hard time.
But everything MUST go fine, so thank you already to all those whom have showed compassion feelings towards Stefania, and all those who will. Thank you, especially Cassie, Jim and Chris, my lil lovely Tina :).Your prayers and good vibe can save her.
Kisses and treasure life always: never think nor plan on how to waste it: it still the most precious of all gifts, even when it's damn difficult to see it.

When death is coming towards you, you need not say: go away.
A beautiful composition mel and all the best to your cousin.
I often wounder why there is so much pain in life and peace in death - I do know we can escape niether - As you can see you are not alone Mel - Your presence is our gift - Your work is passionate and emotional - never contrived just real like yourself - Take care -
But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep. For since by a man came death, by a man also came the ressurection of the dead. For in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive. (1 Corinthians 15:20,21) Excellent remeberance image! And God bless you and your cousins family in Jesus resorative name!
I'm with you in this hard time...
Very emotional work! Incredible intensity!
May she rest in Our Father's Eternal Love. Love you Meli, my prayers to you. Beautiful image and tribute to your loving Stefania.Pierre
Such a rememberance should be shared with all your family as a true gift for them all. Our prayers go out to you. Very thought provoking
Hi, Meli! So long not in your Gallerie. At first: To You and your family: my condolence! /// To the picture: Although on desperate and sad occasion came into being, a very much nice work! /// My relation to the death, appears / to me rather close, as that to the life. Frightfully to lose a being close person. Without doubt! But otherwise "He" belongs to the commonness, and I would have known 25 years ago how everything comes, I would have "warmly greeted "Him" at that time. But this is my own story/ opinion. I wish you a beautiful life! Thomas
very breathtaking and extremely sad to you capture it sooooooooo perfect i canfeel it too, ssooooooooooooooooooo sorry.please my condolence to you and your family too:( your friend Tom
Peace in death is explained only as an ending for if the soul survives-the struggle endures forevermore!Fight every day, seek to overcome and perservere...for those who succumb find peace only from death and death consumes them to live no more.Never forget that we may believe in eternity for the soul...but only those who desire it and seek it out--for even God would not be so cruel as to make us bear eternity when we cannot endure our limited time on Earth! For some death is a welcome embrace and we must ask if the same would not be equally true for an eternal soul condemned to live forever...in the end, will death outlive even the creator of us all if he tires of forevermore.Live life to the fullest or be content with who you are...happiness can be found on Earth if we make it as if it were our own vision of heaven-then those who reject forever can at least have known the happiness of our lords embrace!Love ya Galli-girl...I see forever in your eyes and know I have seen heaven even if I one day choose this life on earth over forever!
This is wonderful.....just want to let you know I lost my brother 3 years ago, I miss him each day, sometimes I wish he would give me a sign...because I can't believe there is nothing between heaven and earth...this is very touching what you made, I see a lot in it, life is so sort in so many ways, people must see the little things ......but most of people don't see them anymore. I am glad I see the little things, and I am always caring for others. All needs time for heal, I know if you lose someone that is very hard. I wish you the best, because I know we all need strongness........hugs Ilona xx

This is really one of your most visual and visceral pictures I've seen. You're growing by leaps and bounds with no boundaries with your art. I also send prayers for your cousin. Life works!
Great collage, Meli! I love the wonderful colors in this picture!
Un lavoro di struggente pregnanza.
Estremamente piacevole e rassicurante.
