Description

The Barracuda evolved from an orbital fighter as the U.P. realised, it would have to be necessary to develop combifighters for escort purposes that are capable of space and atmospheric flight. It was a hard engineering task to fit a fighter that size with enough power to leave a planets gravitational field and resist the reentry procedure. New low weight heatshields had to be developed and new propulsion systems tried. With minor mischiefs like the MK III,the final version of the Barracuda , the MK IV turned out a very fine fighter. Propelled by twin jet/ionic-engines it is fast and manouverable. Its lowweight polymere heatshielding gives it enough payload to carry several weapon systems. Enjoy Dj

Nice fighter designs. My favorite is MK I but all are neat. The family resemblance between all the designs is convincing without being too similar.
