5 views (USS Yorktown)
These images of the USS Yorktown are not to scale. They do however show the entire ship from stem to stern. The model was created in Bryce 5 from scratch; all concepts and design by me. I hope to post one of several pictures showing different views of this ship as it enters the Jovian system and during its mission phase. This will include (I hope if my computer cooperates because all images are being rendering at premium/aggressive and rays at 144) a closer visit to either Io or Europa. By the way I always render my pictures this way but, now the file size is up to over 221 Megs. Now even on a P4 3.02 GHz with 2 gigs of DDR 400 ram it

That Spaceship Rocks!!! I would love to see some renders of it during its mission.
Bravo...This whole USS Yorktown is the most incredible modelling I have seen.still beyond me how it can be done in Bryce. How many years must I go LOL.
Outstanding David as usual...I really do drool over these spaceships of yours...
I can't get over the detail and clarity of your wonderful models David! Just glorious work! I'll bet they do drag your system down. Mine would go toes up I think. :-) Fantastic job as always!!
nice ship and excellent modelling .BUT.its almost identical in design to the discovery from 2001....(its even goin on the same mission : )
An outstanding model. Although from the technical aspect it looks slightly fragile along the longitudinal axis. Nevertheless I'm sure it will reach Jupiter and it's moons. Good job!
Very cool model David, as said by others. I'd love to see this in a scene....
wow are you pumping these models out or what, totally awesome David, :o]
I can certainly understand what it does to your machine, but please persevere, I want to see where it's going!
Ship looks amazing from all angles! You continue your line of amazing space vessels!
